Learn How To Customize Your Blog

New to Blogger? Learn how to customize it!

Get a close grip of your customers by reaching them directly on their phone

But How?!

As it turns out, its easier than you think. If there is a way to reach people fast and accurate, its by reaching on their cell phone; and no, we are not advising you to reach in their pockets.

Its called Short Message Services (SMS).

Bre Marketing will show you why Ez Texting will be your ally in this.

SMS are short text messages sent to your contacts or clientele. Why does this method work better than others? Because it is:

  • Simple.
  • Fast
  • Effective
  • Free (limited)
  • Tool to connect

It is simple because you do not have to go trough the trouble of writing long emails. Take a look at Twitter being so successful with a limit of only 140 characters.

It is also Fast, just press send and your contacts/clientele will receive your alerts.

Effective because it is precise, concise, and direct. You have more chances of people reading a text rather than an email. Due to the limit on characters, you are better off sending a small message with only the relevant information, It goes straight to the point and you can add links on the messages.

Ez Texting allows you to program when the messages will be sent. This means you can plan ahead and always correct if you need to cancel a text message of being sent.

Free! Yes free but it is limited to the amounts you can send per month. Ez Texting allows you to send 500 text messages per month as part of their free package.

You can now connect with your clients better because Ez Texting allows them to reply to you. This way, you can always stay on top of questions, comments, and complaints. Additionally you can inform clients if your business hours are changing or any other short notice situations.

Need more thank 500 text messages, you can enroll on programs that will allow you to send more messages for a fee.

Try it out for free! Use this great tool to your advantage and remember; Bre Marketing showed you how. (Applause)

Have Courage! Try, Try, Again!

I watched another great TED Talks this week. This one is was done by the film maker Morgan Spurlock, made famous for thing the film Supersize Me, and his TV show called 30 Days. He is as man that has built his career by doing amazing, dangerous, and life threatening things with the a goal to show society how we really act as humans weather we know it or not.

I have always like Spurlock’s productions; he seems like a man with a big heart who is on a quest to help the world become better. I also admire him because he isn’t afraid of being told no, and he is not someone who I know to give up easily.

In his talk Spurlock talks about his quest to make a film about branding and marketing that he seeks to get completely funded by sponsors. It wasn’t easy for him to do this. He heard the word “no” a repeatedly; which is why I wanted to write about this talk.

In the world of marketing, we can get lucky and hit it big on our first idea but most likely we will be hearing that word “no” many times before we hit it big. There is no proven calculation to marketing and branding, there is no big secret that companies have hidden up in a vault that holds all the success, we as marketers and advertisers have to hear “no, no, no, no, no” and then we have to take notes, pick up our pride and get back on the horse till we find what works.

My post this evening isn’t about how to get your product out there and sold, it’s about having the courage to not give up. Winston Churchill said this, “Never give in. Never give in. Never, never, never, never—in nothing, great or small, large or petty—never give in, except to convictions of honor and good sense. Never yield to force. Never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy.”

It is never an easy thing putting your ideas out in the world to be judged and criticized by the public. If you are the type of person who gets down when someone tells you that you’re not good enough, marketing isn’t the place for you…unless you can get past this sentence and dig down, deep down into your soul and turn around and say, “who are you to say its not for me, I can succeed and anything I want to succeed in, I’ll show you.” Then I encourage you to do just that, show me. Show me that you are strong enough to put yourself out there again and again hearing “no” after “no” and keep fighting.

TAKE RISKS! If man, many years ago, did not risk hitting two rocks together in fear of its reaction, we would not have fire as we know it. If Steve Jobs quite when they said a computer was a silly creation, we would not have Ipads, Ipods, Iphone, Itunes, and the list goes on. Spurlock goes on to say this:

“If you take chances, if you take risk that in those risks will come opportunity. When you push people away from that, you’re pushing them more towards failure. When you train your employees to be risk averse, then you’re preparing your whole company to be reward challenged.”

Please ladies and gentleman, never give up. Fight for your ideas, fight for your goals, fight to be the best that you can be. I hope you are not disappointed that this post isn’t a tip about how fun and enjoyable E-Marketing can be. I didn’t write one of those posts because it’s not always the case that it will be easy to start a business, it’s not always going to be easy to get your name known although people often like to pretend that it is. It will take work, hard work, and lots of it. But I can promise you this, if you give it everything you have inside you, you will be successful, so long as you never give up and you take the “no” as a chance to go home, make it better and then try again.

Making Competition Irrelevant

In order to achieve incredible growth you must change the context of how the market sees what you offer and in doing so make your competition irrelevant.

To achieve this you can create a never imagined product or innovate an entire industry. These are generally accepted ways to achieve growth, but let’s face it, not everyone has that in them.  A far simpler way is to better understand the market you are trying to serve and move your business into the position of leadership.

You do this by understanding where your market is headed, even before your market knows it headed there.

Most businesses try to focus all of their attention on selling, servicing and talking about where their market is today. They create products and services to sell to people who are already demanding those products and services. Nothing wrong with that, money to be made there, but that’s where everyone else is playing too.

If you want to make the competition irrelevant you have to start having conversations with the market about the things no one else is telling them they need to consider.

Brand preference competition, with its constant “my brand is better than your brand” jockeying, is by far the most common. Marketing strategies aimed toward this approach feature constant, enhancements to your companies offering’s such as reliability, or price, in hopes of getting buyers to take a second look at a familiar brand.  They devote even more resources to marketing communications that try to sway buyers with more clever advertising, more impactful promotions, more visible sponsorships, and more involving social media programs than the competition’s.

Nobody said this was going to be easy. What I’m suggesting is a business strategy as much as a marketing play, but bold growth only comes from equally bold thinking.

Get Started With Social Media

Social MediaMaybe you’re a new business, or maybe you’re an older business who recently decided to get active on social media. Regardless, you face the same problem: how do you build a successful presence on social media when no one on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, or Instagram knows who you are?

1. Choose the channels that work best for YOU

Not every social media channel will works for your business.  So first, choose the channels that are right for your company.  Figure out where your customers already hang out. Set up a Mention or a Google Alert for your company’s name, and find out where conversations about you are already happening. (Or, simply ask your customers what their favorite platforms are!) You can also consider the demographic information for each channel and try to match that up with the demographics of your customer base.

2. Define your goals

As marketers, we know it’s much better to be able to track and define your success with hard numbers. Once you’ve chosen some channels, it’s time to set up your metrics for success. That will help you see if your hard work is paying off and help you decide if you should continue to invest in a channel that is not working as well as you’d like.
Some things to consider when setting up your metrics goals:
  • Is getting a lot of followers your main goal?
  • Do you want to increase mentions of your business online?
  • How important are likes, re-tweets, and contact to you?
  • What is your goal for response time to customers questions and comments?
  • Are you trying to increase clicks and drive traffic to your website?

3. Tell everyone you know.

Now that you have set up your channels its time to start making your profile fit your business feel. But you still have the same problem: no one is following you.
How to fix it: start an online conversation with your current customers to get the ball rolling. Move your existing customer base to your social media channels. Email them, put your account names on your business cards, and scream it from the rooftops. By driving their focus to your social media accounts, you’ll start to build a quality follower base that already likes you and what you have to say.

4. Think like a logical human being.

Don’t just promote and talk about yourself. Don’t allow your conversations and posts to be one sided. When you act like a human being via social media and use it to interact with other human beings, you’ll be able to reach new potential customers and people who are genuinely interested in what you’re selling.
Engage in conversations like you would with your own friends — “like” relevant comments and statuses, and start conversations with interesting people and companies.

5. Provide useful information to your community.

The goal isn't to NEVER talk about yourself, but do so in a way that will benefit your community. What are their main concerns? What do they need help with? This comes back to knowing your customers.
Bonus Tip: Engage your new social media community by promoting fun competitions. Got some company pens or t-shirts to give away? Create a contest for your followers and promise the winners these gift option.  In return they might even brag about it to their friends, which just equals more and more mentions for you!

EZVID: Why you need to check it out

Now that you have a blog, What are you going to share?

One of the great things about your own blog is that you can now share anything you want; Videos, pictures, posts, links, you name it.

However, among the most popular things now a days are videos and pictures. Just take a look at Pinterest, entirely working out of sharing pictures. It makes it easy to share on other media sites, and allows you to follow pages that share pictures that you like, For example, if you are a big fan of sports, Pinterest collects sports pictures that amuse you.

And lets not forget about Vine, a video sharing device that allows you to take short videos and share them on your social media pages. There is no hassle of editing, and its small enough to be share almost instantly. It got so popular that Twitter acquired it in 2012.

But lets just say you need to make and edit a video. Our recommendation; EZVID.

EZVID is a screen recorder that allows you to create and edit videos. There is no limit on the amount of time that you can record, but we recommend to keep it small; not only to save you time, but because short videos tend to appeal more people.

Why is it good? It is very simple so you don't have to become a video editing expert. The editing screen allows you to speed up,slow down,  split, delete, and move frames. Made a mistake? EZVID comes with an undo button!

Another great feature is that you can add media from your computer. This includes video, pictures, and also your voice. Right next to the microphone button, you'll find the screen capture button. This becomes really helpful when making "How to" videos. However, the limits are up to your imagination.

Ezvid comes with songs and audio included. You can pick from the list or you have the option to use your own audio. If you record your voice and want to include audio as well, EZVID allows you to control the volume on both your voice and the audio. This enables you to favor one or the other, allowing for a better balance in the overall audio.
In addition, you can add the tittle of your video and description.

So after all that time spent editing, you are finally ready to upload! EZVID comes with an easy upload button. It allows you to pick between different sizes and quality of the video, but we always recommend high quality.

Last but not least, don't forget to share your video on your social media pages. Invite your friends to watch it and be proud; you just made a video, and Bre Marketing showed you how (applause).
